Medxcel Facilities Management (FM), a company leading the transformation of healthcare facilities management, announced today the partnership with Trimedx Foundation, a nonprofit global medical foundation, to expand the TriMedx Foundation’s mission of addressing the international need for medical equipment repair and support to now include facilities asset management. Together the partnership will help hospitals in need integrate the environment of care to improve healthcare delivery globally.

The first mission will support Kenya Relief by sending two Medxcel FM associates to install electrical power distribution panels and equipment, as well as servicing vehicles needed to help healthcare providers deliver much needed care to the thousands in need in that region.

“The doctors and nurses who serve through Kenya Relief are doing great things and helping people who need medical treatment they wouldn’t normally be able to access. But those doctors still need a safe structure in order to conduct those medical procedures. That’s what we do and where we felt we could help,” Michael Argir, CEO & President of Medxcel FM, said. “Medxcel Facilities Management is dedicated to ensuring patient safety in the healing environment. We feel like if we take what we do well in the U.S. and donate the time of our talented people on staff, we can make a global impact to positively improve the healing environment for those who are less fortunate.”

The company is sending Josh James, Assistant Regional Director and Eric Waller, Regional Director on the first mission with TriMedx Foundation. “I am excited to show my faith through the talents God has given me by helping Kenya Relief,” James said. “I have been amazed at the impact we have had on the lives of others here at home but with that said, the people we help here still have better options for care than the ones we will be serving in Migori, Kenya. This is an amazing opportunity to live out our company’s core values.”

Developed as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization over a decade ago, the TriMedx Foundation was founded as part of TriMedx mission to raise the standard of healthcare around the globe by working alongside local hospital staff and providing basic training on medical equipment repair and maintenance. The Foundation accomplishes this through volunteer mission trips to repair and service medical equipment desperately needed in order to provide patient care in developing countries. Michael Argir has been a member of the TriMedx Foundation board since 2015 and has envisioned contributing to the TriMedx Foundation’s mission by incorporating the service solutions Medxcel FM offers ever since he took that seat.  Not only that, the passion of associates with the needed skills to make this a reality came with an apparent and overwhelming willingness to serve.
